As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

REALESE OF INFORMATIVE BOOK FOR FARMERS BY LIONS CLUB OF BANAVASI
During the District Governorâs visit to the Lions Club of Banavasi, a book containing valuable information on manure and crop practices for farmers was released at the hands of the District Governor. I attended the programme in my capacity as Zone Chairperson. The initiative is highly beneficial for rural areas like Banavasi and reflects the clubâs commendable efforts towards the upliftment of farmers and the agricultural community.

ATTENDED DISTRICT GOVERNOR'S OFFICIAL VISIT TO LIONS CLUB OF BANAVASI
The District Governor made an official visit to the Lions Club of Banavasi on 12/04/2026. As the Zone Chairperson, I attended the public function at the Supriya International Hotel, Sirsi, along with the District Governorâs Team (DGF). I actively participated in the proceedings and contributed to the event's success.
