As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

INAUGURATION OF BUS SHELTER, BUILT BY LIONS CLUB OF SIRSI
During the District Governor’s official visit to the Lions Club of Sirsi on 12/04/2026, a bus shelter constructed by the Lions Club of Sirsi at a cost of ₹1,50,000 was inaugurated by the District Governor. The shelter is located at Lions Circle on the Sirsi–Yellapur Road, a prominent junction connecting the Market Yard and the main market area of Sirsi. This facility addresses a long-felt need of commuters, providing a safe and convenient place to wait for buses. The project stands as a meaningful service activity, contributing to community welfare and enhancing the public image of Lions through dedicated service.

The District Governor made an official visit to the Lions Club of Sirsi on 12/04/2026. As the Zone Chairperson, I attended the Board of Directors meeting held at the Lions School Board Room, Sirsi, along with the District Governor’s Team (DGF). I actively participated in the meeting, during which various matters were discussed. The meeting was highly interactive, informative, and productive.

ATTENDED DG OFFICIAL VISIT OF THE LIONS CLUB OF SIRSI
The District Governor made an official visit to the Lions Club of Sirsi on 12/04/2026. As the Zone Chairperson, I attended the public function held at the Lions Auditorium, Lions School, Sirsi, along with the District Governor’s Team (DGF). I actively participated in the proceedings and contributed to the success of the event. During the function, I had the honour of receiving the MJF (Melvin Jones Fellowship) International Plaque from the District Governor.
