As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

WORLDWIDE ENVIORNMENT SERVICE WEEK BY LIONS CLUB OF MUNDGOD
During the Worldwide Week of Service for Environment, the Lions Club of Mundgod undertook tree plantation drives at important locations in the city. The initiative was widely appreciated by the public and reflected the club’s commitment to environmental conservation and community service.

WORLDWIDE ENVIORNMENT SERVICE WEEK BY LIONS CLUB OF SIDDAPUR
On the occasion of Environment Week, the Lions Club of Siddapur distributed materials required for preparing Jeevamrutha, including barrels and pipes, to the Sampagod Forest Nursery staff. On the same occasion, Forest Guard Shri Suresh Nayak, who has rendered 37 years of dedicated service and contributed to raising over 1 crore saplings along with the nursery team, was honoured for his remarkable service.

WORLDWIDE ENVIORNMENT SERVICE WEEK BY LIONS CLUB OF BANAVASI
During the Worldwide Week of Service for Environment, the Lions Club of Banavasi distributed seeds to farmers in the area to promote environmentally friendly crops and sustainable agricultural practices. The programme was graced by the presence of the District Chairperson for the Worldwide Week of Service, Lion Adrion Tores. This initiative proved to be highly beneficial to the farming community and reflected the club’s commitment to environmental conservation and rural development.
