As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Honour to our Club Woman Empowerment Chairperson
An Event is organised to honour Our Lion member and Woman Empowerment Chairperson Lion Sangeeta Kolekar and Kusha Kolekar for their service and support to the club on the occasion of their 40th marriage anniversary. Lion members were participated in the celebration.

Joy of Giving
The Lions Club of Canacona and Leo Club of Canacona of our President of Lions Club of Canacona Lion Pankaj Naik Gaonkar and Lion Priyanka Naik Gaonkar on the occasion of his birthday organized a heartwarming get together and dinner under the “Joy of Giving” initiative. The event was held at Mataji Mandir Vidhyarthi Vastigraha, where Students, respected delegates from various walks of society, and other esteemed guests was present. Total 70 students and 20 staff members along with 50 respected individuals have benefited of this events. 15 Lions members and 10 Leo members spend 3 hours and spend Rs. 30,000/- to make this event was a grand success.

Sweaters Donated to News Paper distributing boys
Lions Club of Maski donated 24 sweaters to News Paper distributing boys in Maski. A few boys were present during distribution and remaining sweaters distributed later.

VDG 2 Visit
MJF Lion Sudesh Borkar, VDG2 along with his spouse Mjf Lion Sudhila were invited as Chief Guest for the last day of 2025 celebrations. The Club report was read by Lion Ravindra Kakati, Club Secretary. Lion Borkar participated and took active part in games arranged.
