As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Felicitation of Animal Conservationists Mr Charan Desai
Animal Conservationists, Mr Charan Desai from Ponda was Felicitated by DG PMJF Lion Jaiamol Naik during the charter night celebrations for his contribution in Animal Conservation and mitigation of Animal and Human conflict. Mr Charan Desai expressed views on the occasion and apprised the gathering about the challenges faced during his work of Animal Conservation and need for the mitigation of Animal and Human conflict.

Second Zone Advisory Meeting
PST and Club admin of Lions Club of Banavasi were attended 2nd Zone Advisory Meeting conducted by MJF Lion VInay G Hegde, Zone chairperson at Lions Club of Siddapur. Lion Vagish I Kerudi President talked about future services. Lion Gurudatta N Rayasad Secretary spoke about the avtivities done after the first zone advisory.

Farmers Day - 2025
Organised Farmers Day Celebration in honour of Farmers. On 23rd December and 24th December Agriculture Spray pumps and vegetable seeds were offered at special discounted price to farmers. Stage programmes were conducted on 24th December 2025. 141 Farmers were honoured with shawls. Special honour ceremony to five young farmers was conducted. 3 Officials from Agriculture department addressed the farmers on the organic farming. Free handbags and new year calendars were given to all. Shri Kumareshwara Krushi Kendra, IFFCO and Jai Kisan were major sponsors.

Goa Liberation Day at Sanjeevan Higher secondary school, Nageshi in association with Sanjeevan Arogyadham, an old age home
Our club celebrated Goa Liberation Day at Sanjeevan Higher secondary school, Nageshi in association with Sanjeevan Arogyadham, an old age home. The students gave speeches on the occasion. Fancy dress and patriotic singing competition were held and prizes and refreshment were distributed. Members of old age home also participated enthusiastically. Refreshments and prizes were sponsored by Ln MJF Kiran and Ln Shanta Nayak. 🙏

Our Club organised Annadan on 15-12-2025 at Govt Primary school and Anganwadi near Kawle Panchayat. Homemade food was served to the students.
