As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

LIONS VISIT TO OLD AGE HOME ON CHRISTMAS DAY
Lions club of Chodan celebrated the Christmas Day with the Elders at Old Age home, Pandawada. President Lion. Manoj, secretary Lion Santosh and Lion Rainer participated and distribution Sweets and cakes to elderly citizens. Carol singing and Christmas dance were performed along with Madel Youths. We had a memorable moments with them.

Observed GOA LIBERATION DAY by conducting Quiz competition for youth on Goa's various achievements and liberation history and winners were given prizes.

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
Fourth Sarvajanik Christmas celebrations for children of Chorao of all faiths (No Caste, Creed or Religion) below 12 years of age was organised by LIONS CLUB OF CHODAN on 19th December 2025 with live Santa Claus with gifts for hundred plus children generously sponsored by annual Project Chairperson PMJF Lion Santosh Gaikwad and family. Tea, Cake, snacks were served to Children and parents. It was an amazing evening at LIONS DAY CARE CENTRE, Chodan filled with LOVE & KINDNESS.

DIMENTIA AWARENESS AND BRAIN FITNESS
Lions Club of Chodan in association with "Chorao Senior Citizens Cell" organised a session on "Dementia Awareness and Brain Fitness" on Wednesday 17th December 2025 from 9:30 AM onwards at " Lions Day Care Centre". Faculty Madam Naina Oke of "Aaji Health Care Services", Mumbai delivered the talk, demonstrated brain fitness exercises and had interaction with the participants. Founder of "Aaji" Mr. Prasad was the Chief Guest. Earlier MJF Lion E. Agnelo welcomed the guests and participants, Lion Santosh Gaonkar presented the faculty, Madam Marcelia Gomes proposed the vote of thanks. EXCELLENT 2nd MENTAL HEALTH Activity for Lionistic year 2025-26.

Conducted General Body Meeting
General Body Meeting of Lions club of Sankhali was held on 9th December at La Tara open Air Venue, Sankhali. Various points were discussed and finalize as per the agenda. Activities for the month of December and January were discussed. Also discuss the planning of DG visit , charter nite and New year celebrations on 31 st December 2025. All members took part in the healthy discussion. Meeting was adjourned for fellowship and dinner.
