As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

THE ZONE SOCIAL OF MJF LION RICHARD PINTO, ZC REGION 5, ZONE 2 WAS ORGANISED ON 18TH APRIL, 2026 AT HOTEL MI CASA. IT WAS WELL ATTENDED BY OVER 70 LION MEMBERS OF THE REGION AND EVEN OTHER REGIONS AS INVITED. THE SPECIAL MOMENTS OF THE SOCIAL WAS THE ATTENDANCE OF THE DG PMJF LION JAI AMOL NAIK, THE 1ST LADY AND DCS, PMJF LION DR. KIRTI NAIK, WHO ATTENDED THE ENTIRE FUNCTION. IT WAS ALSO ATTENDED BY PMJF LION VASU VOLVOIKAR, AND OTHER GUESTS. IT WAS A WONDERFUL NITE OF COMORADERIE, DANCING, PLAYING AND MANY PRIZES WERE DISTRIBUTED. A NITE TO REMEMBER FOR ALL WHO WERE PRESENT.
