As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Breast Cancer awareness and detection camp
Our club member and GMT- Family and Women Specialist MJF Lion Swati Surlakar along with District Chairperson for Breast Cancer Awareness MJF Lion Gloria Fernandes organised Free Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening camp in association with YOUWECAN foundation on Sunday 14th December 2025 at Povitr Khuris, Near Davorlim panchayat, Davorlim -Goa from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm in the afternoon . Rev.Fr. Dominic Noronha was the Chief Guest. Total 66 women attended the same and took the benefit of the same

CLLI was organised by Lions Club of Chodan on Wednesday, 10th December,2025 at "Lions Day Care Centre" following the GBM/BOD meeting at point No. 16 of the day,s Agenda. Faculty MJF Lion Darryl Fernandes made a awesome and informative Power Point presentation and answered all queries raised by the members

MONTHLY BOD/GBM MEETING FOR DECEMBER
GBM/BOD meeting of Lions Club of Chodan was held on Wednesday, 10th December,2025 at "Lions Day Care Centre" . Twelve members were present. CLLI was conducted by MJFLion Darryl Fernandes. It was a good session with power presentation followed by question answer session. The meeting was followed by Fellowship and dinner generously hosted by PMJF Lion Santosh Gaikwad.

HENCE, IN OUR REGION WE ARE CONDUCTING ONE REGION ONE DAY ACTIVITY ON JAN 4TH . FOR THIS WORCHUVAL MEETING ALL CLUB PST, ZC AND OUR REGION MENTER ARE PRESENT . TOTAL 18 MEMBERS ARE PRESENT IN THIS MEETING.

IN THE MONTH OF NOVEMBER, JAMAKANDI CLUB GOT THE TOP 5TH POSITION . FOR THIS ACHIEVEMENT IN OUR REGION, ALL CLUB MEMBERS ARE VERY HAPPY, AND IN THE COMING MONTHS, WE WISH THEM TO BE IN A TOP 1 POSITION.
