Special Initiative: Weeks of service
As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Blood Donation Camp
Blood Donation Camp on 09th December 2025. The Lions Club of Canacona along with Leo Club of Canacona together with the All Goa private property shack and Huts owner and we for Palolem, in association with Goa Medical College, organized a Mega Blood Donation Camp on 09th December from 9.00 am. To 2.30 pm. At Disaster management camp Char rasta Canacona Goa. After a symbolic Sapling watering ceremony the camp commenced. A total of 126 Donors registered , and 98 donors were approved to donate blood, making the event a major success. Total 15 Lions members were present and spend 5 and half hrs. and spend Rs. 25,000/- to success this programme.

Attended breast cancer screening camp organised by Lion Swati Surlakar - DC and Lion Gloria Fernandes - DC through Yuvraj Sing foundation on 14/12/2025 from 9 am onwards at Davorlim Goa.
