Special Initiative: Weeks of service

As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

  • MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING:  October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
  • HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
  • ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Making an Impact, One Activity at a Time!

Pulse Polio Abhiyan

The Pulse Polio Abhiyan program was successfully conducted at Shri Renuka Temple, Haveri, for children below 6 years of age. During the camp, pulse polio drops were administered to 140 children to protect them from polio. The program aimed to create awareness among parents about the importance of polio immunization. The initiative contributed to strengthening public health and supporting a polio-free India.

SSLC Exam Preparation for Students

GS Hattimathur Sir, a teacher from Kittur High School, conducted a special guidance program for SSLC students at Basavabharathi High School, Haveri, focusing on the Mathematics subject. He clearly explained the SSLC examination blueprint, marking scheme, and important question patterns. The session covered effective study strategies, time management techniques, and easy methods to understand and solve mathematical problems. The program created confidence and awareness among students and motivated them to prepare in a systematic and stress-free manner for the SSLC examination.
