As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Women Emopowerment
Lions Club of Kumta in association with RSETI, Canara Bank conducted women empowerment camp. Mrs. Mangala Naik Lecturer at RSETI Kumta explained various opportunities and schemes available for both Women and youths at there facility and encouraged them to join hands and contribute to the nation development.

Celebration of Diabetes awarness Day
Lions Club of Kumta in association with Shree Dharamstal Manjunath Sangha conducted Diabetes awareness talk at HPS School Shashihitla, Gunda of Kumta. Around 60 women benefitted with the talk. Our President Dr. Nagaraj Bhat explained how to lead a health life style and avoid Diabetes and Control the same.
