As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Admin and Service Activities reported on Lions Portal
The following service activities were reported on the Lions Portal for the month of November 2025 1) 6th & 7th November - Dental Camp- The Lions Club of Candolim along with the Village Panchayat of Candolim organized a Dental Medical Camp for students of St Theresa's Primary School in Candolim. Students from Classes I, II, III and IV had their teeth screened by Dr Nadine Fernandes, Dr Nazleen Vas and Dr Shefali Pednecar. Students were counselled regarding proper care of teeth. Every student was given a toothbrush, toothpaste and light refreshment. 2) 12th November - The Lions Club of Candolim in association with the Village Panchayat Candolim and EMRI Green Health Services organized a First Responders Training Programme for the second batch of Std XI Commerce and XI CMR students of St. Theresa's Higher Secondary School, Candolim. The programme was conducted from 9.30am to 4.30pm with XI standard students in attendance. It was a very informative and interactive training programme with theory and practical demonstrations.3) Hunger Relief- During the First Responder Programme held for students of St. Theresa's Higher Secondary School 140 students, faculty members and volunteers were served morning tea, lunch and evening tea. 4) An online meeting was held by the Lions Club of Candolim during which Mr. Denzyl Rodrigues was inducted into the Lions Club of Candolim. The induction of the new member was carried out by PDG Lion Dominic Rodrigues. 5) Activity based toys such as Jigsaw puzzles, Board games, Building blocks, Magnetic tiles, Math manipulatives, Science kits, Language learning tools etc which promote learning, creativity and fun was donated to the Government Primary School, Dando for use of the students 6) Five disabled individuals from the village of Candolim availed of the wheel chairs and fowler beds from the Orthopaedic Bank f Lions club of Candolim for recuperation after surgery. 7)The Lions Club of Candolim partnered with the Village Panchayat of Candolim and Karo Sambhav to conduct an E - Waste collection drive yesterday, at the Club house for the villagers of Candolim. 570 kgs of e - waste was collected from homes, shops and hotels. 8) The Lions Club of Candolim along with the Village Panchayat of Candolim conducted an AI Video Editing Masterclass. Participants learned about Pros and Cons of AI, video making, video editing and how to create reels with music. Sessions included theory and hands on practical classes. Resource persons Ms Parvish Kamat and her colleague from E - Tech Skill Academy, Miramar. b) Administrative Report: 1)The BoD and General Body Meeting of the Lions Club of Candolim was held on Wednesday 17th November at 11.00 a.m at Coyote, Candolim. The Agenda for the meeting was as follows: - AI programme - pros and cons of AI and how it can be used - 29th November. - Celebrating World AIDS Day - The Lions Christmas cake fund raiser - Hunger Relief for the month of November - Activities for the month of December - A.O.B Lion Lanny Fialho received a pin from Lions International for sponsoring more than two members, this pin was presented to him by the President of the club Lion Jude Lopes. The meeting concluded with fellowship and lunch. 2) The District Governor's 2nd zone advisory was hosted by the Lions club of Thivim at the Lions Club house in Thivim. Zone Chairperson Lion Venkatesh Babladi appreciated all the clubs in his zone for the commendable job they were doing. He also requested them to increase membership of their respective clubs. He informed all the clubs about the District as well as International activities to be carried out in the next few months. The meeting concluded with fellowship and dinner. The Zone advisory was attended by The members of the Lions Club of Porvorim, Lions Club of Candolim and the host club members of the Lions Club of Thivim. Attended Goa Sangeet Sangam organized by Lions Club of Sankhali.
Four Members of Lions Club of Candolim attended the Goa Sangeet Sangam, an All Goa Hindi Film Solo and Duet singing competition organized by Lions Club of Sankhali at La Tara Open Open Air Venue at Sankhali.
