As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Annadasoha
The Weekly Annadasoh (22nd Hunger Relief Activity) was carried out near District Hospital, Belgaum. More than 200 people were provided with steaming hot rice pulao. It was sponsored by Ln Hemant Kittur.

Beach cleaning
On August 11, 2025, a massive cleanliness drive was organized under the auspices of Lions Club Gokarna Gram Panchayat Gokarna Taluk Panchayat Kumta and Pahare Vedike Karwar. In this drive, about two tippers of plastic waste were collected and redelivery. All the line members,MLA Dinakar Shetty, police circle inspectors, panchayat presidents and citizens, cleanliness staff were present in this drive.
