As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

BOD meeting with Governor on Occasion of Governor visit to our Club
On 1.3.2026 Our District Governor PMJF Ln.JaiAmol Naik , District Cabinet Secretary Ln.Kirti Naik officially visited lions club of Gangavathi. Held BOD meeting with PST and BOD members. Senior members Dr.Chandrappa ,Dr.Somaraju, Dr.Madhav shetty , Eranna pathepur , s.s.pattanashetty,T.Ramakrishna and more than 45 members were participated.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN DAY
1. International Women Day was celebrated at Lions Club House, Tivim 2. Chief Guest for the function was Mrs Amita Nayak Salatry and Guest of Honour was Ln Sneha Chorge 3. Seven Ladies were felicitated on this occasion for their contribution to the society and being role models to many young ladies. 4. All these ladies were from Tivim and surrounding areas 5. 2 BOD meetings and 1 GB meeting were conducted to plan this event

HOLI CELEBRATION BY CLUB MEMBERS
On the occasion of HOLI, Festival of Colour which was celebrated in the Club House, Sweets were distributed and Competition on colourful saree wearing was organized, The best colourful Saree wearing lady was given an award.

1. Hosted Region Conference 2026 of Region IV District 317B at “Good Food” Open Air Hall. Marcel 2. Ln MJF Prashant Chanekar chaired this conference 3. 17 members of the Club registered and actively participated to make this conference a success

Cycle distribution under RC Activity
on 5th march 2026 under the RC Activity under leadership of RC PMJF Lion Vishwanbar kenkre distributed 2 bicycles for the students of Sarvodaya education Society Curchorem Goa. for the event our club President MJF Lion sameer Naik , club secretary Lion Nilkanth Pai , club treasurer Lion Ashwin Dsouza, DC lion Avin Naik, VP1 Lion rocha pereira and club member Lion Vipul sirsat were present. school headmistress Mrs. Alka subhash Faldesai and teaching and non teaching staff attended the programme.
