As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

District Governor's 3rd Zone Advisory
The members of the Lions club of Candolim attended the District Governor's third Zone Advisory hosted by the Lions Club of Porvorim at the Lions Club of Porvorim Medical Centre. The Zone Chairperson Lion Venkatesh Babladi expressed his happiness with the Club's performance and advised the members to try to increase the membership. He also commended them on the regular reporting. He briefed the members about the future District programmes.

Celebrated Republic Day at Govt. Primary School, Carambolim, Tiwsadi, Goa
The Lion Club of Old Goa Celebrated the Republic Day at the Government Primary School at Carambolim, Tiwsadi, Goa. Lions Secretary Lion Purushottam Karpe was the Chief Guest for the function and unfurled the National Flag on the occasion. Students, Headmaster, teachers, and parents were present for the function.
