As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

An educational tour to the Waste Management Plant at Saligao on 14/11/2025
An educational tour to the Waste Management Plant at Saligao was organized by the Lions Club of Old Goa on 14th Nov 2025 for the students of Sunandabai School, Corlim. A total of 35 students, along with school staff, participated in the visit. The students were taken through a complete tour of the plant, where they were shown educational videos and briefed on the various processes involved in waste management. The visit helped them understand how waste is scientifically treated and managed at the facility. DC for Waste Management, MJF Lion Gajanan Golatkar, served as the Project Coordinator for this initiative. District Ambassador for Mission 1.5, MJF Lion Sunil Mevada, along with members of the Lions Club of Old Goa, were also present for the activity.

Lions Club of Old Goa held its regular Board of Director Meeting in a virtual way through Google Meet. on 20/11/2025. Following Board members were present:- 1. Lion Daniel Gonsalves – President 2. E- waste collection drive
The E-waste collection Program. Lions club of Avedem Paroda organized “ Dump or donate, E-waste collection and awareness program”. Members of LC Avedem Paroda went around the villages of Assolda, Cotombi,Xeldem,Avedem and Paroda and created awareness about E-waste and disposal about it in a scientific way. The E-waste drop zone was, the residence of president of LC Avedem Paroda Lion Shakuntala Raut Dessai, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturday, 15/111/2025. The program was inaugurated by MJF Lion Joseph D’Costa, DC for E-Waste collection and awareness. Lion Joquim from LC Navelim. President Lion Shakuntala Raut Dessai and Project Manager MJF Lion Anand Dessai collected the e-waste donated by the community around. About one tempo full of e waste is collected.

ON NOVEMBER 14, CHILDRENS DAY WAS CELEBRATED IN NURSERY AND PRIMAY SECTION OF LIONS SCHOOL. SWEETS DISTRIBUTED TO STUDENTS AT THE HANDS OF DCS AND 1ST LADY OF THE DISTRICT LION KIRTI NAIK AND 1ST LADY OF THE MULTIPLE DISTRICT LION PREMA. DIGNITORIES PRESENT INTHE PROGRAM WERE DISTRICT GOVERNOR LION JAIAMOL NAIK MCC LION MOHANKUMAR. ZC, Z1 OF R12 LION VINAY HEGDE LIONS SCHOOL PRESIDENT, HM, STAFF WITH CLUB P S T. ALL GUESTS ENJOYED WITH THE STUDENTS BY PLAYING GAMES AND PARTICIPATING IN THE SPORTS.

LIONS STRIDE WALK-5K WALKATHONE FOR DIABETIC AWARENESS
LIONS STRIDE WALK - 5K WALKATHONE FOR DIABETIC AWARENESS WAS ORGANISED FOR PUBLIC. THE WALKATHON WAS OPEN TO ALL AGE GROUPS. AGE GROUPS OF 10 TO 75 WERE PARTICIPATED. REGISTRATION FEES OF RS 200/- WAS COLLECTED AND ALL PARTICIPANTS WERE PROVIDED WITH T-SHIRT CAP PACKEGED DRINKING WATER AND A NICE BREAKFAST. TOTAL 185 PEOPLE REGISTERED AND PARTICIPATED IN THE EVENT. DISTRICT GOVERNOR LION JAIAMOL NAIK FLAGED AND INAUGURATED THE EVENT AND MULTIPLE COUNCIL CHAIRPERSON LION MOHAN KUMAR N. DISTRIBUTED CERTIFICATES AND MEDALS TO ALL PARTICIPANTS. OTHER DIGNITORIES PRESENT IN THE EVENT WERE DCS AND 1ST LADY OF THE DISTRICT LION KIRTI NAIK 1ST LADY OF THE MULTIPLE DISTRICT LION PREMA DC FOR DIABETIC AWARENESS LION DR. SUNIL JATTAN, ZONE CHAIRPERSON Z1 OF R 12 LION VINAY HEGDE PRESIDENT LION GURURAJ HONAVAR, SECRETARY LION MANOHAR MALMANE, TREASURER LION PRAKASH HEGDE, SERVICE CHAIRPERSON LION MALLIKARJUN NEJJUR AND MANY OF THE LION MEMBERS. OUR ASSOCIATE PARTNERS IN THE EVENT WERE SENIOR CHAMBER INTERNATIONAL AND IMA SIRSI WING. PRESIDENT OF SENIOR CHAMBER INTERNATIONAL SIRSI LEGION, SNR ANIL KARI SECRETARY OF IMA DR. HARSHA NADIGER WERE GUEST OF HONOUR IN THE EVENT. 1 ST 2ND AND 3RD PRIZES WERE AWARDED TO WINNERS AND ALL PARTICIPANTS WERE ISSUED WITH PARTICIPATION CERTIFICATE AND MEDAL. ROTARIAN DR. DINESH HEGDE STOOD FIRST- AND 10-YEAR YOUNG BOY ATHARVA APPRECIATED WITH 4 TH PLACE. THE EVENT CONCLUDED WITH SPEECH ON DIABETIC AWARENESS BY ALL DIGNITORIES.

Pre- University College. 4) Regarding the starting of Banahatti Lions Club. 5) Regarding the organization of BOD on December 7th and felicitating all the past presidents. 6) Regarding the Annadaso program (Hunger program) during December 3 to 12. 7) Regarding the donation for fitting IVDG Albal school lions board. 8) Regarding providing free legal aid. 9) Regarding - Mental health and well-being awareness program.
