As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Cervical Cancer Awareness Program – 08-03-2026
On the occasion of International Women’s Day on 08-03-2026, a cervical cancer awareness program was conducted for government school teachers. The session focused on the prevention of cervical cancer, including early detection, screening methods, risk factors, symptoms, and the importance of regular medical check-ups and HPV vaccination. The topic, “Prevention of Cervical Cancer,” was effectively presented by Lion Dr. Pranaeetha Ajay, who explained the subject in a simple and practical manner, encouraging teachers to take care of their own health and to spread awareness among students and the community. The program was well received by all the participants, who actively interacted and expressed that the session was highly informative and beneficial.

VOLUNTARY BLOOD DONATION CAMP IN ASSOCIATION WITH ENGINEERS ASSOCIATION, BELLARY
“Lions Club of Bellary successfully conducted a voluntary blood donation camp in association with the Engineers Association, Bellary, where several dedicated donors came forward to contribute blood for the benefit of needy patients, reflecting our shared commitment to saving lives and serving the community.

Prasada and Snacks Distribution Programme
A community service initiative organized by our Club, where members distributed Prasada and snacks to devotees and the public. This service activity aimed to promote fellowship, compassion, and service by sharing food with all participants, fostering goodwill and social harmony. This is part of our Free Food Distribution Programme (Signature Activity), reflecting the Club’s commitment to serving the community through nourishment and care.

(35th Hunger Relief Activity) was carried out near District Hospital, Belgaum. More than 200 people were provided with steaming hot rice pulao. It was sponsored by Lions Club of Belgaum.

61 CHARTER NITE LIONS CLUB OF PONDA
I MJF Lion on special Invitation and on behalf of Lions Club Of Mapuca attended the 61st charter Nite celebration function of Lions Club Of Ponda on 12th March, 2026. It was also an Official Visit of our District Governor of District 317B PMJF Lion Jaiamol Naik & other Cabinet members of our district. Well attended and Organized function & also Felicitation of many past district Governor's.

MEDICAL MOU BETWEEN LIONS CLUBS AND HEALTH DEPARTMENT
Memorandum Of Understanding was signed between Lion clubs and the government Health Department (GHD) to provide Medical facilities to the people of Goa. To start with Lions clubs will provide "BAJAJ 220 CRUISE BIKES MODIFIED AS ABMULANCE, FITTED WITH MEDICAL KIT,AED AND BRANDING OF LIONS CLUB INTERNATIONAL" which will be handed over to GOA Medical Health Department. In the long run more such Bikes and ambulances with Lions Branding will be provided for peoples benfit.

On the Special Occasion of "INTERNATION WOMENS DAY" Lions Club of Thivim organized a special function to celebrate the same. I was One of the Invitee for the function which i attended on behalf of Lions Club Of Mapuca. Over ( plus women's were felicitated on the basis of their Merit and special work done to the Society on various field.
