As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Traffic awareness and safety program
Harshad Naik DC for Road safety organised a traffic awareness and Road safety program in association with traffic cell Fatorda at presentation convent High school Ambaji Fatorda for the students.Fatorda traffic cell p.I.shri Filomeno costa briefed the students about traffic rules and traffic safety. Nearly 120 students benefited from the program

District Governor 3rd Zone Advisory meeting
Lions club of Vasco da Gama hosted district governor, 3rd zone advisory meeting. Zone chairperson, Lion Arnaldo Do Rego successfully conducted the meetin. Meeting was focused on leadership. Second vice District governor Lion MJF Sudesh Borkar was also present.

Attended Charter Nite of Lions club of Mapusa Suburban
Six members of the lions club of Candolim attended the 24th Charter Nite Celebrations of the Lions Club of Mapusa Suburban. IPP Lion Lanny Fialho and members were presented the International club Excellence Award at the hands of the District Governor PMJF lion JaiAmol Naik.
