As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

CLUB MONTHLY MEETING - MARCH 26
MONTHLY MEETING OF MARCH WAS ONDUCTED ON 24/3/2026. AGENDA AND MEETING NOTICE WAS SENT TO ALL MEMBERS ON 15TH OF MARCH. SECRETARY LION MANOHAR MALMANE ATTENDED THE MEETING VIRTUALLY FROM LONDON. PAST ACTIVITIES READ BEFORE ALL ATTENDED MEMBERS BY THE SECRTARY.MAJOR RESOLUTIONS REGARDING CONSTRUCTION OF BUS SHELTER AND DG OFFICIAL VISIT WERE PASSED. AS SCHEDULED DG OFFICIAL VISIT DATE WAS FINALISED FOR 12 TH OF APRIL AND SERVICE ACTIVITY OF INNAUGURATION OF BUS SHELTER WAS PLANNED TO BE AT THE HANDS OF DISTRICT GOVERNOR. TEAM SELECTION FOR THE YEAR 2026-27 WAS CALLED BY THE PRESIDENT. VP1 LION ANITA HEGDE WAS CALLED TO TAKE THE CHARGE, BUT LION ANITA DENYED TO ACCEPT DUE TO HEALTH REASONS. VP2 AND VP 3 WERE ALSONOT ACCEPTED FOR THE SAME FOR THE PERSONAL REASONS. SO, SELECTION OF THE TEAM POSTPONED FOR THE NEXT MEETING.

Expenses covered for Eye Operation of 4 year old SK Allul
Lion Lanny and Lion Susan Fialho covered the eye surgery expenses of four year old SK Allul, daughter of a migrant worker of an underprivileged family. The child is now able to see well due to the successful eye surgery.

Donation to Keshav Seva Sadhana
On 13th March Club donated Rs. 15000 to Keshav Seva Sadhana, School for Special Children, Valpoi, Sattari Goa, towards the request for special school cultural program for all special schools of Goa , which was on 17th March at Ravindra Bhavan Sankhali.
