As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

CONDUCTED INTERACTIVE SESSION ON YOGA THERAPY FOR MENTAL HEALTH ON 11 OCTOBER 2025 AT HOTEL FLORA GRAND
Conducted a interactive session on Yoga Therapy for Mental Health by myself at Hotel flora Grand, vasco da Gama. I am a Govt. approved Yoga wellness Instructor and holding valid certificates as a Yoga Trainer and Therapist. This session was crafted for the woman, good number of people and club members attended this session. A PPT presentation also was presented on mental health and appreciated by the participants. All the participants served the tea, coffee and snacks at the end of session.

Admin and Service Activities reported on Lions Portal
The following service activities were reported on the Lions Portal for the month of October 2025 1) 2nd October - Hunger Relief - 27 Sanitation workers from Candolim were given one month's groceries to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti. 2) 3rd October - Distribution of free spectacles to students of St. Theresa's High School, Candolim under "Sight for Kids Programme." 3) District Tour - Four members of the Lions Club of Candolim attended the District Tour conducted by District 317 - B at Pattaya and Bangkok. 4) 6th October - Under UNSDG Mental Awareness Service Week Programme an interactive talk was held for students of Don Bosco's Welfare Centre by Psychological counsellor from " Beautiful Minds and Wellness Services on the topic " Managing Emotions and Building Self Esteem." 5) 7th October - Under UNSDG Mental Awareness Service Week Programme an interactive talk was held for staff of Hyatt Centric by Psychological counsellor from " Beautiful Minds and Wellness Services on the topic " Managing work Related Stress and Creating a Supportive Work Environment ." 6) 9th October - A Blood Donation Drive was organized in collaboration with the Village Panchayat of Candolim and Hyatt Centric, Candolim. 49 units of blood were collected with the help of the staff from Goa Medical College, Bambolim. 7) 10th October - a) stationery consisting of notebooks, drawing books, coloring books, crayons, color boxes etc were donated to the Government Primary School, Dando in Candolim. b) Activity based toys like jigsaw puzzles, board games, building blocks, Science kits, Math kits, Language kits etc were donated to the Government Primary School, Saipem in Candolim. 8) 11th October - Under UNSDG Mental Awareness Service Week Programme an "Evening of Bonding with Happiness and Smiles was organized for the Seniors of Arc of Hope - An Old Age Home in Candolim." The seniors enjoyed the dancing and singing sessions which was followed by light refreshment as well as dinner. 9) 27th October - Our permanent project the Candolim Eye Clinic screened 19 patients. 10) 29th October - Under our Hunger Relief programme, the Club served lunch to 49 residents of Jeevan Anand Saunstha in Parra. 11) 29th October - The President, Secretary and Treasurer of Lions Club of Candolim attended the webinar on Online Reporting on International as well as District reporting. Administrative Report 1)The regular BoD and General Body meeting of the Club was held on 1st October to discuss the following points: -Service Week Activities - Blood Donation Camp - A.O.B 2) Two District Cabinet Officers and two club officers attended the District Cabinet Meet held at Pattaya on 4th of October.

On more feather to lions club Gangavathi. President Ln.Dr.Shivakumar Malipatil,secretary Ln.Jambanna ayli, treasurer Ln.Shivappa Gali and Senior lions Ln.Chandrappa G.Ln.Dr.Somaraju ,Dr.Manikappa,Ln.Dr.V.V.Ciniwalar , Eye Hospital committee President Ln.T.Ramakrishna , Ln.Dr.Mallanagouda ,Ln.Satish ,Ln.eranna pathepur were Present.

Attended UNSDG #3 Mental Helath Awareness Programme Closing Ceremony held on 12 October 2025 at Hotel Flora Grand, Vasco da Gama. Dc for UNSDG #3 Lion Adrean Tores has organised this activity in coordination with Zone Chairperson Lion Sinu Daniel. During this event a interactive talk was conducted and a candle light show presented indicating throw light and talk openly on the matter relating to the Mental Health issues. This activity held on 12 October 2025, howerver reporting start and end date marked as 13 th October 2025 due to reason that this portal does not accept more than one activity under same contest rule)
