Special Initiative: Weeks of service

As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

todays activity at medical centre, no of patients screened 60, cataract selected 11 patients, total RBS-7 patients done

VISION

Today being Thursday eye checkup camp at our Lions Medical Center Old Hubli Hubli Dr Aashik Das and Vadiraj Katti from MMJE Hospital Hubli examined 16 beneficiaries out of which 8 beneficiaries referred for cataract operations. RBS and BP checkup was done to 10 beneficiaries by Vivek Ambekar and Hiremath Sir. 👍👍 WE SERVE🙏🙏

Annadasoha

Clubs Annadasoh (27th Hunger Relief Activity) was carried out near District Hospital, Belgaum. More than 200 people were provided with steaming hot rice pulao. It was sponsored by Anand Caterers. (D & I).
