Special Initiative: Weeks of service
As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Elocution Competition
Under my Portfolio as Recognized District Chairperson for Reading Action Program, Organized Elocution Competition Program on 17th March 2026 at Smt. Ramabai Hanumanth Benne English Medium High School, Karwar for their Students. A total of 10 Students participated in the competition, and the topic was "No Plastic Pollution." All participants were awarded 'Certificates of Participation,' and the winning students received Cash Prizes in addition to their Certificates. The Headmaster Shri Deepak Bhomkar, the Teaching Staff, and the Students were present on this occasion. Our District GST Coordinator Lion Aishwarya Masurkar was also attended the activity.
