As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

Service Focus Weeks

  • MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING:  October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
  • HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
  • ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day

Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

A CLLI SESSION ON ROLE OF A LION AND MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES WAS CONDUCTED ON 21.01.26, BY ADRIAN TORRES, ALLI GRADUTE, AT THE OFFICE PREMISES OF LC OF PANJIM, PANJIM, GOA. IT WAS A MEANINGFUL AND INFORMATIVE SESSION TO BENEFIT OF 20 LIONS WHO ATTENDED.

HUNGER WEEK

ATTENDED THE VISIT TO PEACE HAVEN, A SCHOOL CATERING TO CHIDREN WITH DISABILITIES ON 11.01.26. RICE BAGS, FOOD FRAINS AND OTHER PROVISIONS VALUED AT OVER 11000/- WERE DONATED TO THE SCHOOL AT THE HANDS OF THE DISTRICT GOVERNOR IN THE PRESENCE OF THE ZC, MJF LION RICHARD PINTO, PRESIDENT. MJF WILSON RODRIGUES AND OTHER LION MEMBERS OF THE LC OF PANJIM.

On 4th January, 2026, We, the P S T of the Lions Club of Hubli City, successfully carried out our Signature Service Activity by donating Sugar Boards to KLE's The Banyan School, Hubli.

On 4th January, 2026, We, the P S T of the Lions Club of Hubli City, successfully carried out our Signature Service Activity by donating Sugar Boards to KLE's The Banyan School, Hubli. The Sugar Boards will serve as an effective educational aid, helping to enlighten both parents and children and enhance the learning experience of the students. The Principal of the School, Mrs. Saritha Raichur, expressed her happiness and appreciation for this meaningful initiative and acknowledged the Lions Club’ s continued commitment to community service.

On 3rd January 2025, we, the P S T of the Lions Club of Hubli City, with the dedicated initiative and leadership of our Club Lion Ladies , successfully carried out a meaningful service activity. considering the prevailing winter conditions and the specific needs of the hostel, sweaters were donated to all 74 residents of the Government Hostel for Mentally Retarded Women, Sainagar, Hubli, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

On 3rd January 2025 , as part of Hunger Relief Week observed in accordance with Lions International guidelines , we, the P S T of the Lions Club of Hubli City , with the dedicated initiative and leadership of our Club Lion Ladies , successfully carried out a meaningful service activity. Cooked food comprising Masala Upma and Lakadi Pak was served to 74 residents of the Government Hostel for Mentally Retarded Women, Sainagar, Hubli, bringing nourishment and warmth to the beneficiaries.

Participated in the Republic day celeberations by the Lions Club of Sirsi at Sirsi Lions School. The president of the club unfurled the national flag. School children performed the cultural activities.

The Lions Club of Sirsi conducted CLLI on 17/01/2026. Resource persons delivered a presentation on four subjects: 1. Your Role as a Lion Member. 2. Know your community & their Needs. 3. Communication Skills and 4. How to conduct the club meetings. I was also the resource person for the topic " How to conduct Club Meetings" Club members actively participated in the session. District GLT Coordinator PMJF Lio Ashok Hegde is also present in the session
