As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.
Service Focus Weeks
- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

Global Service Hunger Week
In observance of Global Hunger Week, Lions Club of Sankhali on 10th January supplied required groceries sufficient for a month to Matruchaya Balika kalyan Ashram, Talaulim, Ponda.. We had a healthy interaction with kids trying to know about their education, talents , future aspirations. Overall we spent a wonderful memorable time with these wonderful kids.

Global Service Hunger Week
In observance of Global Hunger Week, Lions Club of Sankhali on 9th January supplied required groceries sufficient for a month to Matruchaya Bal kalyan Ashram, Talaulim, Ponda Goa .Our club annually contributes towards satisfying food requirements of this orphanage. We had a healthy interaction with kids trying to know about their education, talents, future aspirations. Overall we spent a wonderful memorable time with these wonderful kids. Around 5 members visited the Ashram.
