As we embark on a new year of service, we are excited to introduce our Service Focus Weeks for 2025-2026. These weeks are designed to create a global impact by concentrating our efforts on specific causes. By aligning our service activities, we can amplify our impact and visibility, showing the world the power of collective action.

- MENTAL HEALTH AND WELL-BEING: October 4 - 12, 2025 Aligns with World Mental Health Day
- HUNGER: January 3 - 11, 2026, Celebrate Melvin Jones' Birthday
- ENVIRONMENT: April 18 - 26, 2026 Aligns with Earth Day
Each week of service will incorporate two weekends to allow clubs maximum flexibility in their planning. We encourage to engage our district clubs with these causes throughout the year, but during these specific weeks, we aim to create a unified, global impact.

ATTENDED THE LIONS CLUB OF SIDDAPUR DIST GOVERNOR'S OFFICIAL VISIT
I had the privilege of attending the Official Visit of District Governor MJF Lion Jaimol Naik to the Lions Club of Siddapur, held on 28/03/2026. As Zone Chairperson, I participated in the special Board of Directors meeting convened by the District Governor during the visit, followed by the public function of the club. The District Governor shared meaningful insights on the functioning of clubs and the district, along with guidance on future plans and the importance of Mission 1.5 of Lions International. During the felicitation, I appreciated the good service activities carried out by the club and their contribution to the community. The visit was highly informative and inspiring. ATTENDANCE AT LIONS CLUB OF BANAVASI SIGNATURE ACTIVITY ANNA DASOHA (HUNGER RELEIF)
As part of their signature activity, the Lions Club of Banavasi conducted their signature activity of monthly food distribution at Veeranjaneya Temple, Banavasi. It is their Hunger relief programme taken as sigantuare activity. Monthly, one such activity is being carried at one temple in and around Banavasi. As a ZC, I had previlge to attend that noble service activity

ATTENDEANCE AT REGION MEET OF REGION 12 HOSTED BY LIONS CLUB OF HONAVAR
As Zone Chairperson, I attended the Region Meet of Region 12, which was presided over by MJF Lion Rajesh Salehittal, Region Chairperson. The meeting was held on 08/02/2026 with the theme “Mallika.” The program was graced by PMJF Lion K. Suresh Prabhu, PDG 317C, as the Keynote Speaker, MJF Lion Shrikanth More as the Chief Guest, and PMJF Lion Ravi Hegde, PDG 317B, as the Inaugurator. The meet was highly inspiring and enriched the spirit of Lionism through motivational speeches by the dignitaries, followed by entertainment and fellowship. It is submitted that due to certain technical issues in the reporting portal, the same could not be reported during February 2026. Kindly take this on record.

DISTRICT GOVERNOR'S ZONE ADVISORY THIRD MEETING (HOST CLUB LIONS CLUB FO BANAVASI)
The DG’s Advisory Third Meeting of our Zone was held on 14/03/2026, hosted by the Lions Club of Banavasi, in accordance with the DG’s protocol with the theme “Leadership.” PMJF Lion Ashok Hegde, District GLT Coordinator, was the Chief Guest and Speaker. He highlighted the importance of club-level leadership development, CLLI, and membership growth. As Presiding Officer, I reviewed the service activities of the clubs and discussed future action plans, emphasizing the need for quality leadership at the club level. The meeting was well attended and conducted successfully. I thank the host club for their support and hospitality.

LCIF GRANT FUNDED BUILDING INNAUGURATION AND STARTED A NEW PERMANENT PROJECT UNDER RELIVING HUNGER PROJECT
Lions Club SIRSI: Launch of Another PERMANENT PROJECT under Reliving hunger Service Scheme A new fully equipped KITCHEN and DINING HALL constructed at a cost of around Rs.1.11 crores, was inaugurated on 29/03/2026 to complement the programs of the SIRSI Lions Educational Institute with partial funding from Lions Clubs International Foundation LCIF (Rs. 82.52 lakhs). Lion K. Vamsidhara Babu, LCIFA Area Leader, Constitutional Area VI (Past International Director) inaugurated this building. He was accompanied by Multiple Council Chairperson Lion Mohan Kumar N, District Governor of Lion District 317B Lion Jayamol Naik, Project Administrator Lion Erle Brito, 1st VDG Lion Rajasekhar Hiremat, 2nd VDG Lion Sudesh Borkar, IPDG Lion Manoj Manek, PDG Lion Ravi. Hegde hoovinamane, PDG Lion N. M. Hegde.(Lions District 317C) and Lion Prabhakar Hegde, President of Shirsi Lions Educational Institute as the guests of honour, PDG Lion Girish Kuchinad, Region Chair Person Lion Rajesh Salehittal, Zone Chairperson Lion Vinay Hegde on behalf of Lions District, Lions Club SIRSI President Lion Gururaj. Honnavar and Project Chairperson Lion Ashok Hegde were present. Under this project the building was inaugurated and handed over to Shirsi Lions EducationSociety. Then the meeting started under the chairmanship of Lion Gururaja Honnavar. Lion Sumangala Hegade and companions prayed. Welcomed by Lion Gururaj Honnavar. PMJF Lion Ashoka Hegde, Project Officer, explained the project report and utility of the project. Lion Mohan Kumar and Lion Jaiamol Nayka appreciated the services of Lions Club SIRSI. The Chief Guest and Inaugulator of the program Lion K. Vamsidhar Babu explained the importance of Lion International Organization and Lions Clubs Foundation, explained about the grants given to various fixed projects and appreciated the service works of Lions Club SIRSI. donors to the project were honored with memento. All the lion guests of honor felicitated by Lions Club SIRSI. The program concluded with the National Anthem. MOC by Lion VM Bhat.
