E-waste Collection Drive as a part of World Wide Week of Environment

As an observance of Global Week of Service - Environment our club focused on E-WASTE disposal and recycling. Partnering with Sankhali municipality we initiated E-waste collection drive from door to door in Sankhali municipal jurisdiction from 18th to 26th of April 2026. We urged people to give away their E-waste waste material through various social media. Apart from other environmental dangers E-waste is also considered as toxic to nature. It releases heavy metals into soil and water thereby endangering our environment. This makes recycling of E-waste waste essentia.
