Beneficiaries: Approximately 140 school girls. Activity Summary The Lions Club of Jamkhandi successfully conducted a community service initiative focused on women’s health and hygiene. During the event, a comprehensive awareness session was held. Volunteers educated the students on: The biological importance of menstrual health. Proper hygiene practices to prevent infections. Breaking the social taboos and myths surrounding menstruation. Following the educational session, sanitary napkin kits were distributed to 140 students. This initiative ensures that these girls have access to safe, hygienic products, allowing them to continue their education with confidence and dignity. Impact & Success The program was a resounding success, received with great enthusiasm by the students and school administration alike. By providing both the products and the knowledge to use them, the Lions Club of Jamkhandi has taken a significant step toward improving the health outcomes and educational consistency of young women in our district. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the volunteers and donors whose support made this impactful day possible.
